Novel Study: This novel study is intended to be a read-aloud study, but there is an option available to make it an independent reader as well. Students will dive into the book “When Santa Fell to Earth by Cornelia Funke. They will examine the setting and the theme of commercialism, dive into the feelings of the Character Ben, compare how Ben and Charlotte change within the book, and examine what makes a good Santa vs a bad Santa.
