Fantasy Literature Lessons and Activities $5 Bundle Dive into the Realm of Fantasy with Engaging Lessons and Activities
This downloadable resource includes two lesson sets, each paired with a variety of activities.
Lesson Set 1: Reality vs. Fantasy $3
In this Set, students will investigate the differences between Fantasy and reality through three engaging activities:
Fantasy or Reality Sentences
Create Your Own Fantasy and Reality Sentences
Mini-Stories: Fantasy or Reality
Another lesson in this Set focuses on Spotting Fantasy. Students will either listen to the book Where the Wild Things Are or select another fantasy book. Using the "Spot the Fantasy" worksheet, they will identify elements of Fantasy and reality present in the narrative. (A copy of the story, available either in print or as an online read-aloud, is necessary.)
This lesson Set would pair well with my Fantasy Doodle Notes as an introduction to Fantasy Literature.

Lesson Set 2: Building a Fantasy $3
This Set comprises three lessons, each accompanied by worksheet activities.

Roll-A-Fantasy Story
Create a Creature Quest
In these lessons, students will use a worksheet to make personal choices or roll a die to develop a brief fantasy story, incorporating essential elements that characterize fantasy narratives. They will also have the opportunity to design a fantasy creature and generate a quest based on fantasy themes.
This lesson Set would also pair well with my Fantasy Doodle Notes as an introduction to Fantasy Literature or as an introduction or brainstorming session for the Create a Fantasy World Guide Book Project.
